<p><a title="FCMH" href="http://www.fcmh.org/">Fayette County Memorial Hospital </a>is a county owned, non-profit hospital with a tradition of providing compassionate care to thousands of people every year. With a mission of serving its community by providing <em>patient-centered care</em>, Fayette is constantly competing with neighboring hospitals around the region, including the large Columbus hospital systems to the north.</p>
<p>Looking to increase awareness and engagement from their community, Origo Branding Company recently had the privilege to help launch a campaign to educate families and individuals about the wide range of services and expertise their hospital offers. With around 30 different physicians, Origo created a strategy to pinpoint each physician in an integrated advertising campaign that showcases their diverse set of skills and backgrounds from a wide array of specialties.</p>

<p>Helping FCMH be the best rural community hospital, Origo&#8217;s objective was to let the citizens of Fayette County know that great healthcare and services are right around the corner. We made sure to extend the campaign to an integrated set of media channels including the FCMH website, environmental billboards, social media pages, and an extensive print ad campaign.</p>
<p>We love working with great clients dedicated to providing the best care for their patients, and are proud of our strong new partnership with one of the top rural hospitals in Ohio.</p>

In an industry often driven by commercial success and cold hard numbers, it&#8217;s sometimes tough to see how we can make a difference in our community. That&#8217;s why it&#8217;s so gratifying to see peers in our industry being recognized for their commitment to improving our community by applying their professional skills to good causes.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000">Alessandro Ciaffoncini, Origo&#8217;s Accounts Director, is being honored today at HandsOn Central Ohio&#8217;s Agent of Change Awards— a ceremony recognizing major contributors and leaders within the nonprofit community. Recognized for his involvement in the communication and fundraising efforts for HandsOn Central Ohio, Alessandro employed Origo Branding&#8217;s communication expertise to craft the organization&#8217;s <span style="color: #ff0000"><a href="http://origobranding.com/2012/03/handson-launches-new-campaign-for-national-volunteer-week/"><span style="color: #ff0000">&#8220;Empowerment&#8221; Campaign</span></a></span>, spearheading a strategy that will help build awareness, drive donations, and engage volunteerism throughout the community.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000">While HandsOn Central Ohio’s &#8220;Empowerment&#8221; campaign is one of Alessandro’s most recent examples of community involvement, he is no stranger to great causes that need assistance throughout the community. <p>Originally FirstLink, <a href="http://www.handsoncentralohio.org/">HandsOn Central Ohio</a>’s mission is to strengthen and enhance the quality of life in the Central Ohio community by mobilizing volunteers and connecting people to critical community resources.</p>
<p>Recently, Origo Branding had the privilege to partner with HandsOn Central Ohio in creating a campaign for National Volunteer Week (April 15<sup>th</sup>-21<sup>st</sup>) to drive donations, awareness, and community outreach initiatives to assist in new support opportunities for the organization. To do so, we created a branded campaign to help build awareness for the brand through educating the community on the:</p>
<ul>
<li>HandsOn Central Ohio’s mission</li>
<li>Origins of FirstLink and the 2-1-1 Call Center</li>
<li>Collaborative efforts that HandsOn offers to the nonprofit community in Central Ohio</li>
</ul>
<p>In our campaign titled “Empowerment”, we wanted to create a campaign that not only asked for donations, but also gave the donor a feeling of achievement. By making the donor a provider, friend, and hero, we connect emotionally with the target. We name 3 benefits per mailer to highlight the fact that HandsOn connects, helps, and offers assistance to many different nonprofit partners.</p>

<p>Since Origo&#8217;s first involvement with the <a title="Ohio AIDS Coalition" href="http://www.ohioaidscoalition.org/">Ohio AIDS Coalition</a> more than six years ago, we&#8217;ve seen this valuable organization grow and develop, becoming one of Ohio&#8217;s top resources for the HIV/AIDS community. We initially partnered with OAC to develop their identity through a strong brand presence in the region. Since then, their evolved needs and structure have required a reassessment of their identity.</p>
<p>A few months ago we began the process to revamp their brand and bring it closer to the values with which they currently align. Having evolved as a more community facing organization, OAC required an updated logo and look and feel to connect with its audience.</p>
<p>We brought all of this together through the development on an entirely new website for the organization. Our goal was to create a central hub for all resources and support that are available to the HIV/AIDS community in Ohio.</p>

<p>The website boasts interactive features such as an events calendar where users can submit events, &#8220;The Wellness Times&#8221; blog featuring relevant news and articles, and a Downloads section where users can accessvaluable information and resources.</p>
<p>With its revamped brand and brand new website, the Ohio AIDS Coalition is ensuring their position as a leader for the HIV/AIDS community statewide and across the nation.</p>

<p>A couple of months ago we featured e-Cycle, a Top 5 fastest growing environmental services company in the Inc. Magazine list, as we launched its newly redesigned <a title="e-cycle link" href="http://www.e-cycle.com/">website</a>. So far, the website has proven to be very effective for this leader in mobile buyback and recycling, delivering an online navigation experience that focuses on their tagline: &#8220;Recycle, Recover, Protect.&#8221;</p>
<p>This message, however, goes beyond just a tagline. This represents the e-Cycle Process, which delineates the company&#8217;s turnkey mobile buyback, recycling, and data protection process. In order to provide e-Cycle customers with an easy visualization of how they can benefit from using e-Cycle&#8217;s services, Origo set out to develop a 2-minute motion graphics video.</p>
<p>e-Cycle&#8217;s process video is a versatile tool that can be used by e-Cycle representatives to teach new customers about the benefits of the company. It also provides informative visuals during conferences and presentations, and attract visitors to the website to learn more about mobile buyback and recycling.</p>

<p>Origo has had the honor of being <a title="medigold" href="http://www.medigold.com/">MediGold’s</a> agency of record for the last two seasons. As a not-for-profit Medicare Advantage plan based out of Mount Carmel, MediGold offers benefits that help seniors stay healthy and active. Origo has developed the overall marketing strategy, including print advertising, online strategy, and direct marketing and television campaign for both enrollment seasons.</p>
<p>Men and women eligible for Medicare, and those nearing eligibility, are primarily focused on finding a plan with the greatest value to them, and MediGold can provide it. As their agency of record, it was imperative that Origo communicate MediGold’s competitive benefits such as their primary feature &#8211; a $0 Premium Plan. It was also important to communicate MediGold’s latest benefit, the SilverSneakers® fitness club membership. This benefit, to help seniors stay active and healthy, was the driving force behind this year’s campaign: “Go with MediGold.” Our objectives were:</p>
<ul>
<li>Highlight main benefits such as the $0 Premium Plan and SilverSneakers fitness club membership.</li>
<li>Engage audience in a way that would excite them about being active and energetic.</li>
<li>Promote fitness club membership was to build interest by prospective MediGold members who overlooked the plan in previous years due to the lack of SilverSneakers offering.</li>
</ul>
<p>We devised a campaign that focused on inspirational and active outdoor photography, coupled with a vibrant color palette. The tagline “Go with MediGold.” is to inspire seniors and help them envision themselves as energetic and youthful MediGold members.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We enjoy working with projects that serve a greater cause. Our partnerships with various community organizations that help Columbus and the region be the best it can be has always been a point of pride for the Origo team. When we were approached by the <a href="http://www.odadas.state.oh.us/public/">Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services</a> (ODADAS) to aid them in their initiatives against painkiller addiction, we knew the project would be right up our alley.</p>
<p>In order to inform and engage the community and the public sector about the severity of the issue that is painkiller addiction, ODADAS needed a tool to provide critical information while also appealing to people&#8217;s emotions. For such a heavy topic, it was a tall order to devise a story that would touch viewers in such a way as to inspire action.</p>
<p>&#8220;Little Pill, Big Problem − Ohio&#8217;s Opiate Story&#8221; was born out of this necessity. Through the analysis of a wide array of statistics on the issue, we were able to condense the message to touch on only the major and most important points. In order to portray this story, we developed a motion graphics video that is dynamic and fast-paced.</p>
<p>Employing the use of kinetic type, conceptual graphics, and smooth transitions, Origo was able to develop a video that can be easily used during presentations and disseminated online, making it the perfect tool for issue engagement.</p>

<p>Please welcome new Graphic Designer, Nicole Fansler (<a title="nicole twitter" href="https://twitter.com/#!/nfans">@nfans</a>), to the Origo team. Coming from a background in the Higher Education industry, Nicole brings a new element of design and thinking to the group. Previously a lead designer at Davis College, we love Nicole’s experience in taking on big projects, collaborating in a team environment, and offering innovative solutions and ideas to our client strategies.</p>
<p>Only on the team for a couple weeks, Nicole has already made a great impression with her great attitude and ability to understand some of our most prominent clients’ needs.</p>
<p>Just to give a little background on Nicole, here is a bit that we have found out so far:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Interests:</strong> Anything art and design related, sand volleyball, traveling, meeting new people.</li>
<li><strong>Inspirations:</strong> The whole design process inspires me. Being able to create something from concept to finish with a great team in place is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences. Also, the environments around me are a great source of inspiration and can always be interpreted into something creative.</li>
<li><strong>How would you describe your design style (few words)?</strong> Vibrant, fun, typographic, and layered</li>
<li><strong>Best job you&#8217;ve ever had:</strong> Having the opportunity to coach a volleyball team was a great job.</li>
<li><strong>Worst job you&#8217;ve ever had:</strong>  Cleaning out dorm rooms at a college for a summer</li>
<li><strong>Favorite movie/genre:  </strong>Willy Wonka &amp; the Chocolate Factory</li>
<li><strong>Favorite music/genre:</strong> Electronic/Alternative</li>
<li><strong>Dislikes/pet peeves:  </strong>People who don&#8217;t use their turn signals!</li>
<li><strong>Something interesting about yourself (quirky/fun):</strong> I&#8217;m an avid Harry Potter fan, and one day would love to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.</li>
</ul>
<p>As you can see, Origo celebrates exciting, talented, and creative individuals and feel Nicole will be a great addition to the team. Come by and say hello!</p>
