Learning that one has been positively diagnosed with HIV can be an earth-shattering event. But when experiencing this as a teenager, the ensuing sense of isolation and fear of the unknown becomes even more terrifying. To serve as a safe space for teens impacted by HIV, the Ohio Aids Coalition developed an organization called "Ohio Positive Youth." They came to us to develop a brand identity, website and branded collateral that would evoke optimism and be geared toward a teen audience. This upbeat site now provides useful information and links to local resources that help young adults make informed and responsible decisions in navigating their social, emotional and medical experiences. The site also features social networking capabilities, serving as a safe place for young adults to share information and connect with others on both a local and national level.
