Origo takes home Silver ADDY Award for Ohio Naloxone Campaign
At last night’s annual awards ceremony for the American Advertising Federation of Columbus, Origo won a Silver ADDY for a PSA video we created for the Ohio Department of Health’s Project DAWN initiative. Developed as part of a multi-channel harm reduction social marketing campaign titled “OH Against OD,” the PSA educates Ohioans on the dangers of fentanyl, the role that naloxone can play in preventing unintentional overdoses, and how to access and administer naloxone.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the Ohio Department of Health to bring this important, life-saving messaging to life,” said Origo’s President, Alessandro Ciaffoncini. “It is also exciting to be recognized by our peers in the creative and communication industry with this award.”
This critical project is an excellent example of the kind of work Origo loves to take on – campaigns that help create positive change through strategy and creativity. As fentanyl contamination and unintentional overdoses continue to rise in Ohio, Origo is grateful for our continued partnership with the Ohio Department of Health as they work to inform Ohioans and prevent harm. We look forward to expanding this campaign, and other public health initiatives, in the future.
