Origo helped the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio create a new brand strategy to illustrate its dedication to building philanthropic assets for the people of the region, helping to build a brighter future for the 32 counties it serves.

Objectives

  • Origo conducted surveys and working meetings with key stakeholders throughout the region, helping to create a new brand strategy for the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio that embodies its spirit of philanthropy and pride in its region.
  • Origo generated a branded experience of giving and philanthropy for regional, local, and even statewide audiences, helping to build awareness through a wide variety of communication touch points that help build further support and engagement from stakeholders throughout the area.
  • With the new brand message, we were able to develop a website that reflects the Foundation’s commitment to philanthropy and growth in its region by featuring key donors and development initiatives. Through these practices, the website created new efforts for fundraising and philanthropy, driving donations and support through the newly branded website. 

Results

  • Launched in 2013, the new brand and website strategy were received with great success, building confidence and support for the Foundation amongst communities and donors throughout Appalachian Ohio.
  • Through the creation of an emotional and personal brand identity, we were able to establish a voice for the organization that helped to build its bond with the community, allowing the Foundation to continue to grow fundraising efforts through new practices of digital and outreach strategies.
  • Since the launch of the brand, the organization has built enough funds  to have the ability to build their endowment by millions of dollars, connecting the spirit of philanthropy to hundreds of key donors and stakeholders throughout Appalachian Ohio. By launching new funds, scholarships, and foundations throughout the 32 counties the organization serves, the region is working together toward the mission of building a future filled with prosperity, happiness, and hope for its communities.
