OCUL Annual Membership Campaign - Ohio Credit Union League
The Ohio Credit Union League (OCUL) is the leading state trade association for Ohio’s credit unions. The League strives to make the daily lives of credit unions easier through political and regulatory advocacy, compliance, information, media, and outreach services, as well as educational and professional development opportunities.
With a new year approaching, the Ohio Credit Union League has asked Origo Branding to help create a new Annual Membership and Dues Renewal Campaign, developing a new conceptual approach from their recently developed brand strategy, creating the messaging and tactics that would entice new and existing members to renew or enroll in membership with the League.

Origo began by developing campaign concepts and messaging strategies to help highlight how OCUL can address the pain points that credit unions have experienced in recent years, including staffing, revenue growth, technology implementation, and overall capacity.
With this knowledge, Origo created the main campaign strategy of Work Smarter. Soar Higher., which was to inspire credit unions to partner with the League to help ensure their prosperity and growth for the future.
Using this new campaign strategy, Origo developed an integrated marketing approach, including the development of a 5-tiered email campaign, a direct mail campaign, and new messaging and graphics on the League’s website.
For each of these tactics, the League was able to increase membership by emphasizing their benefits of compliance support, educational offerings, and proactive advocacy for the credit union movement.
