The Ohio Credit Union League (OCUL) recently recognized an opportunity to reintroduce their organization by partnering with Origo to create a new brand and marketing strategy to help produce new engagement and awareness for the group’s mission and offerings. Once developing the brand and marketing strategy, Origo was asked to design and develop a new website strategy for the organization’s online presence. Leveraging WordPress as the Content Management System (CMS), the new site was built to generate a more optimized user experience, allowing target audiences to access valuable content, engage in the brand story, and connect with the organization through less clicks.

To kickoff the process, Origo audited the existing site of the Ohio Credit Union League, as well as conducted discovery exercises with the leadership team of the organization to understand the goals for the new site architecture and navigational strategy of the site, as well as help define user personas, intended features, and key content.

Once solidifying the site architecture and wireframes, Origo created conceptual design directions for the front-end of the OCUL online experience, utilizing modern web design practices to differentiate the brand as a leading trade association for the credit union industry within our state.

Once solidifying the designs and content for the site, Origo began development of the new website, conducting HTML development for the different templates and modules of the new online experience, with the goal for the website to be responsive and compatible with different mobile and tablet devices, allowing for a greater user experience on all devices. The site was then tested and launched, creating a powerful response from the industry, helping OCUL generate new engagement, membership, and revenue for their future marketing initiatives.
