Origo Partners with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio is a public charity that works to enrich the current and future quality of life in the 32 counties of Appalachian Ohio. Origo Branding Company was recently approached by the FAO to create a video that would honor their 2012 Child of Appalachia® honoree, Bill Morgan.

The Child of Appalachia award is an annual distinction given to members of the Appalachian community who have dedicated their time, energy and resources to the betterment of the Appalachian region. In the past, the Foundation has shared awardees’ stories through print and news media, but decided this year to take a new, digital approach to storytelling. Origo set out to create a video of biographical highlights, incorporating graphics and testimonial footage, to honor Bill Morgan’s career milestones and accomplishments.

The final result is an uplifting and inspiring piece that celebrates the history of the Foundation For Appalachian Ohio, as well as the individuals who have given of themselves to advance the Foundation’s mission. The video was met with tremendous applause at the Child of Appalachia gala on October 25, and we were extremely glad to help the FAO grow their message of giving back.
