Origo’s VP, Alessandro Ciaffoncini, Is Recognized As A 40 Under 40 Class of 2018 Honoree
May 25, 2018Each spring the Business First 40 Under 40 program recognizes 40 young “movers and shakers” within our community who have demonstrated outstanding career achievements and philanthropic efforts. Of the 300+ remarkable leaders nominated in this record-breaking year for submissions, we are proud to announce that Origo’s very own VP and Accounts Director, Alessandro Ciaffoncini, was celebrated last evening as part of the select group of Columbus leaders nominated and selected as a recipient of the 2018 Columbus Business First 40 Under 40 awards. He was nominated by friend and past 40 Under 40 recipient, Jeff Dennis (Director of Strategic Initiatives at Kegler, Brown, Hill, & Ritter).
This year’s theme for the event was all around animals to promote the events’ partnership with one of Columbus’ leading animal shelters – Columbus Humane.
For a bit of background, this award recognizes Alessandro’s achievements in his professional career where he has played a critical role in leading the growth of our agency and the business strategy for clients’ brands, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to inspiring nonprofit organizations across the nation. Within the last five years, he has led Origo to win a number of ADDY Awards from the Columbus American Advertising Federation (AAF) for Exceptional Work in Advertising & Creativity, as well as recognition at the Generation Rx Partnership Awards for outstanding work in safe medicine practices on the national campaign and program from Cardinal Health and The Ohio State University, Generation Rx. Most recently under Alessandro’s leadership, Origo won the best public Awareness Campaign for the second year in a row at the 2017 National Council on Problem Gambling Conference in Portland for the State of Ohio’s responsible gambling campaign, Get Set Before You Bet.
If working full-time as VP and Accounts Director wasn’t enough, Alessandro also finds the time to volunteer with a number of art and human service nonprofit organizations. He has played an active role in elevating the arts in Columbus through his board involvement in the Jazz Arts Group, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, and Wexner Center for the Arts. Alessandro also serves as a leader and advocate for the Central Ohio marketing and advertising community, where he held the title of President of the American Advertising Federation (AAF Columbus) and served as a governing board member of Columbus Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
While personal community involvement is important, Alessandro has also made an effort to lead Origo to become an outstanding community steward through its ongoing philanthropic support of the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, Catholic Social Services, the Heinzerling Foundation, and many more nonprofit organizations.
We are so proud of Alessandro’s achievements within the Columbus community and his drive to take Origo Branding Company to the next level. We can’t wait to see what he does next!
