A New Era for Origo

As of October 9th, 2020, Origo Branding Company is proud to announce the promotion of Alessandro Ciaffoncini to the role of President for the agency.

Since starting his career as an intern at Origo under the mentorship of his father (and Founder), Tommaso Ciaffoncini, Alessandro has grown into the lead business development and account strategy role for the agency, over the last 12 years. During this time, his leadership has contributed to the exponential growth of the company’s client list, staff and annual revenue – helping Origo reach new heights and expand the way it serves its partners.

He is proud to have had the opportunity to lead successful initiatives for well-known brands, all of which work to make a positive impact for people and communities around the world, including Cardinal Health, Elmer’s, the Ohio State University, Safelite AutoGlass, Abbott Nutrition, ABB Optical Group, Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Nationwide Insurance, Nike, and the State of Ohio. Alessandro now looks forward to innovating the agency’s processes to continue adding value to new and existing partners.

Expanding Our Capabilities While Supporting Our Community

Furthermore, with the help of Alessandro’s leadership and vision, Origo has evolved into new service lines and departments, growing into a full-service marketing and communications firm over the last decade, adding capabilities and expertise around social media strategy, motion graphics, media buying, web development, and SEO. As a result of these efforts, Origo Branding Company has been listed in Business First’s Book of Lists as a Top 20 Advertising Agency in Central Ohio for almost a decade, growing in placement each year. Along with this achievement, Alessandro was also recognized for not only his achievements in business, but also for his contributions to the nonprofit community within Ohio, being recognized as a Business First Forty Under 40 Honoree, Class of 2018.

Alessandro has always made a point of giving back to his industry and community, and has played a key role in guiding the donation and volunteer efforts of the agency with organizations that make a true difference in the world.

Under his guidance, Origo has continued its long history of contributing to inspiring organizations, such as the Columbus Zoo, Catholic Social Services, Heinzerling Foundation, Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, Lutheran Social Services, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, the Jazz Arts Group, Zora’s House, Equitas Health, the Lindy Infante Foundation, and the Wexner Center for the Arts.
