Origo Wins Two ADDY AwardsFebruary 27, 2023
Last Thursday night, Origo attended the annual awards ceremony for the American Advertising Federation of Columbus, and we’re excited to announce that we took home two ADDYs!
Our first award was in the Public Service Campaign Category for a PSA video series we created for the Ohio Department of Health, where we developed a multi-channel harm reduction social marketing campaign, titled OH Against OD, which works to address the opioid overdose epidemic. The series of PSAs that were submitted from the campaign were created to educate Ohioans on how to administer naloxone, as well as described the risk factors of an overdose.
Our second award of the night was also in the Public Service Campaign Category for a series of mission videos we created for the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund, creating awareness around how this state organization works to prevent child abuse and neglect through investing in strong communities, healthy families, and safe children. The PSA videos highlighted who OCTF is, the programs they fund, and how their services impact children across the state.
Origo is honored to accept these awards from our peers in the advertising industry and also would like to congratulate the many talented creatives in our community that also won this year. And while we are proud that the work our team produced has been recognized at such a high level, we are even more proud that it is for campaigns that were built to advance the well-being of others.Alessandro Ciaffoncini, President
