Origo Recognized as a Central Ohio 2026 Best Place To Work

August 12, 2026

Last Thursday, Origo was proud to be named a 2026 Best Place to Work by Columbus Business First, an honor recognizing Central Ohio companies that have created exceptional workplace cultures and highly engaged teams.

The awards ceremony, held at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, recognized 45 companies across the region for their exemplary commitment to building positive, supportive work environments that meet the evolving needs of their employees, while continuing to deliver the highest quality work and service.

At Origo, we put our people first; as they are the driving force behind the creativity, collaboration, and results our clients experience every day. That’s why character and shared values are at the heart of how we hire, how we work, and how we shape our culture. Origo is a place where people enjoy coming together to collaborate and create a fun, supportive environment built on mutual respect and kindness. And, just as importantly, a place where coworkers become friends.

When Columbus Business First surveyed our team, employees ranked Origo exceptionally high for fostering flexibility, adaptability, trust, engagement, and support. Their feedback reflects the kind of workplace we strive to build every day: one where people feel valued, empowered to do their best work, and given continuous opportunities to grow.

A few highlights of the survey results include:

  • 100% of employees reported being “Highly Engaged” in their place of employment.
  • 100% of employees agreed with the statement: “If I contribute to the organization’s success, I know I will be recognized.
  • When rating the statement “The senior leaders of the organization value people as their most important resource,” Origo ranked in the top five percent of all participating companies.
  • Responses showed employees are “Highly Favorable” toward the company, act as “Advocates” for the business, “Intend To Stay,” and exert “High Discretionary Effort” in their work.

That is what makes this award especially meaningful to us, as the recognition is based directly on anonymous employee feedback and ratings, reflecting the experiences of the people who know Origo best. To see a few of the anonymous responses, read below, as this is just a taste of what our people said when describing Origo Branding:

From the ground up, our people make Origo a creative, welcoming, and collaborative space to work, as well as an environment where everyone feels valued and celebrated.  Thank you to Columbus Business First, as well as, all our team members, for this honor. We look forward to continuing to strive to make Origo the best possible place to work and create for many years to come.

The Photo Contest

This year, the BPTW celebration included a Photo Contest where each company was to submit an image that brings their company culture to life through the theme: Workplace Personalities In the Wild. Given the venue of the Columbus Zoo, participating companies chose from a list of animal archetypes provided by Business First, each representing specific organizational traits. Origo Branding selected The Elephant (“The Collaborator”) because it showcased our values of teamwork, connection, and support. Styled like a vintage National Geographic diagram, our entry shows the different members of our team working together to move our “elephant” forward. Let us know what you think!
