
Navatros New Brand & Website Strategy - Navatros
OCUL Services Corporation (OSC), the for-profit entity of the Ohio Credit Union League (OCUL), has almost exclusively served Ohio’s credit union community since 1966. As OSC began serving credit unions in other states and new companies and industries beyond the credit union market, OCUL engaged Origo Branding to develop a new brand identity and online experience for OSC.
The goal of the new brand and website was to reflect their evolved vision and value propositions, allowing the group to expand their reach and redefine their brand story to connect with a more diverse range of audiences and stakeholders.

Through an internal stakeholder survey and an audit of existing marketing materials, Origo identified that the new brand identity needed to honor the OSC’s heritage as a trusted credit union leader while reflecting its status as one of the more progressive and independent groups in the market. We also learned that OSC has expertise in anticipating client needs, making it a comprehensive partner to financial service providers of all kinds.

Guided by the insights from the research and testing phase, Origo developed and tested new naming strategies, which led us to the recommendation of Navatros, which captures the company’s purpose and expertise in helping partners navigate toward new heights. This included the development of a comprehensive Brand & Messaging Guideline to define how Navatros interacts with clients and its community, including defining the mission statement, brand positioning statement, brand personality, audience messaging, and tagline of Your Future is our Focus.

With a unique messaging strategy in place, Origo created a new visual identity and logo. Through clean lines and a strong typeface, the logo captures Navatros’ passion and fierce commitment to being the true north for their clients on the path to success. The design system uses inviting yet bold colors to inspire confidence in the future, positioning Navatros as a forward-thinking partner without alienating their valued credit union partners.

Last, Origo brought the Navatros brand to life in a new website, using intuitive design and navigation to help users quickly see the full scope of Navatros’ offerings. We also created final brand and launch assets to help Navatros activate their new identity, including a press release, e-blasts, business card design, sales folders, sales sheets, and social media and content marketing plans.

With a new brand identity, Navatros was able to more efficiently communicate its evolving value propositions to build trust with current and new credit union partners and make new relationships within new industries and regions, allowing the group to expand its reach and growth.
