Zora’s House helps to create safe spaces for women of color to establish meaningful, supportive relationships with other women in their community; develop a deeper practice of self-care, resiliency, and emotional intelligence; and successfully incubate their creativity, scholarship, entrepreneurship, activism, service, and leadership. Additionally, they serve as an inclusive learning space for the larger community on issues of race, politics, economics, arts, and culture, as they relate to the identities and experiences of women of color. Origo was proud to support the Zora’s House mission in its early beginnings by helping to develop the brand and website strategy of the organization, helping advance their mission and message throughout the community.

To help Zora’s House launch its mission, we developed a brand strategy that would position the organization as a vibrant, diverse, and empowering place to support local women of color with career-building workshops, community events, and fellowship programs.
Origo worked with the leadership team to develop visual and messaging strategies to help promote awareness of their programs and offerings, as well as conducted surveys to identify strengths and opportunities for the new brand vision.
To develop a more comprehensive digital experience, Origo designed and developed a new website for Zora’s House, helping to engage and connect potential members and connect the community to their mission, values, and vision. By developing a mobile and SEO-optimized website with simplified navigation, users were able to experience an intuitive membership page, an events page, and social media outreach tools.
The new brand has been able to propel the organization to the forefront of the community, as Zora’s House is now a leading organization for women and non-binary people of color committed to transforming themselves and the world around them.
