Honoring Legacies: Introducing the “Tributes of Hope” Digital Memorial

July 27, 2026

Lifeline of Ohio has long been dedicated to promoting and coordinating organ, eye and tissue donation. While they have maintained a physical Donor Memorial Wall since 2017 to recognize those who have given the gift of life, they sought to expand this recognition into the digital space. To bridge the gap between physical and digital commemoration, Lifeline of Ohio partnered with Origo to create “Tributes of Hope,” a new online platform where families can craft deeply personal, customizable pages to honor their loved ones.

Discovery & Research

Building a memorial platform requires extreme care and sensitivity. Our team began by conducting deep discovery sessions and stakeholder research to identify exactly what families needed to share and feel when visiting the site. This process helped us define the emotional tone and essential functionality, eventually leading to the selection of the name “Tributes of Hope”—a concept that perfectly captures the organization’s mission to celebrate the legacies of donors and “Heroes in Spirit.”

Website Strategy

We focused on creating an experience that is both welcoming and highly functional. The new site is fully responsive, ensuring that families can access and contribute to these memorials from any device. Key technical highlights include:

  • Custom Search Functionality: Users can easily find specific tributes by name, keyword, or “Legacy Highlights,” fostering a sense of community among donor families.
  • Featured Tributes: An automated homepage feature that honors legacies during significant times, such as birth months, Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day.
  • Integrated Submissions: A streamlined workflow that allows families to submit new tributes for internal review and publishing by the Lifeline of Ohio team.
Website Launch & Outreach

To ensure donor families were aware of this new resource, we supported the launch with a comprehensive marketing suite. This included e-blasts, social media campaigns, and print collateral integrated directly into Lifeline of Ohio’s grief support resources, ensuring the community had immediate access to this new way of remembrance.
