To further the success, growth, and positioning of their business, Carrick Professionals worked with Origo Branding to develop a fresh brand identity, including name, logo, and messaging systems, as well as focused outreach tactics and an intuitive website where stakeholders could learn more about their evolved value propositions, including the expanded capabilities and industries they serve.

New Naming & Brand Identity

Formerly known as Professional League Resources (PLR), the group began as a for-profit arm of the Carolinas Credit Union League (CCUL), providing professional services to its members. As the organization grew, leadership saw an opportunity to expand their services and expertise to industries across the nation that could value from their offerings, as well as evolve their solutions to better meet the needs of existing and potential credit union clients. After creative consultation with the Origo team, Origo worked to develop conceptual directions for their name and logo mark that expressed their new brand story, while preserving the heritage and success stories of their past.

Thus, we landed on the name of Carrick Professionals, which stemmed from the “Carrick bend knot” that is featured in the logo of CCUL, helping to highlight the organization’s history, as well as its competitive advantages of offering extraordinarily talented and experienced professionals who offer a proven history and process that ensures success for their partners. The same ethos drove the development of the new Carrick Professionals logo, which joins a unique signature script with a modern type treatment.

Brand Guidelines & Collateral

To bring the brand to life, Origo developed a new color scheme that was inspired by the maritime themes of the Carolinas, as well as the professionalism, experience, and assurance that Carrick Professionals provides to clients. These colors were utilized to create a full brand identity that was showcased in the brand guidelines we created, which was used to educate employees on the new brand strategy, as well as provide guidance when developing any future communication tactics. In addition, a suite of brand collateral was developed to equip the team with resources to highlight the new brand and market their suite of solutions. This was matched with a full set of new brand assets, such as an email signature, e-blast template, letterhead, sales folder, brochure, and business cards.

Launch & Explainer Videos

Along with the collateral, Origo developed a launch video to excite internal and external stakeholders about this new chapter for the organization, as well as an explainer video that introduced the new Carrick Professionals brand story and clearly communicated the purpose of the organization’s evolution. The videos were designed to build engagement and understanding around Carrick Professionals’ expanded vision, capabilities, and continued commitment to serving clients with trusted expertise. Through strategic messaging, thoughtful storytelling, and cohesive visuals, the videos played a key role in bringing the new brand to life across digital platforms.

Website Strategy

To launch and activate the new brand, Origo and the project team developed a website designed to educate and engage the stakeholders of Carrick Professionals, including existing and potential clients, as well as potential candidates for job openings. Built to clearly communicate their range of solutions, the site combines intuitive navigation with focused content developed for the specific needs and interests of their different audiences. Through blogs, insights, and educational resources, the website also reinforces their positioning as a trusted industry resource, transforming the site into a long-term marketing and relationship-building tool.

Conference Presence

To strengthen Carrick Professionals’ presence at industry conferences and events, Origo developed a full exhibitor booth design to create a polished and memorable attendee experience. Origo helped by building large-scale booth elements, including a backdrop, pop-up banners, and tablecloth, as well as supporting collateral and other conference assets, such as wallet cards, promotional signs, and a booth reel. Every piece was intentionally designed to reinforce the new brand identity, as we worked together with Carrick Professionals to elevate their visibility on the trade show floor, while equipping the team with professional, engaging tools to connect with attendees when communicating their value proposition with confidence.

Content Marketing Plan

The last piece of the marketing strategy included the development of a comprehensive content marketing plan to consistently showcase Carrick Professionals’ expertise, activities, and industry engagement. Each month, the Origo team leads the full content cycle, from ideation and strategic planning to design, copywriting, and scheduling their content calendars, ensuring every piece of messaging is aligned with the broader brand narrative. This structured approach allows Carrick Professionals to regularly communicate their thought leadership, highlight key events, and share relevant insights with audiences, strengthening engagement and reinforcing its position as a trusted voice within the industry.
