Celebrating the Past and Future of Pride

Speaking out makes a difference. But our voices resonate even more when they are added to all those that came before us. As a collaborative creative agency from the beginning, Origo knows this well. So for Pride this year, Origo is excited to celebrate where we’ve been and the bright future that lies ahead.

To honor the past and propel us toward that bright future, Origo has produced an inspirational Pride video that brings the history of Pride to life and highlights the importance of continuing to amplify LGBTQIA+ voices today and tomorrow.

And in addition to the video, Origo is also excited to share that we have made a donation to Kaleidoscope Youth Center, a nonprofit organization that supports LGBTQIA+ youth in Columbus.

Since our founding, Origo has been a proud ally and partner of community organizations like Equitas Health, Stonewall Columbus, and Equality Ohio, and we are excited to continue to help build safe spaces where the next generation of LGBTQIA+ voices can be supported and heard.

Whether it’s donating, volunteering, or being an everyday ally, there are a wide range of organizations in the Central Ohio area where you can give back and show your support during Pride and year-round. Please consider getting involved with one of the many organizations making a positive impact in our community:

• Equality Ohio: A statewide advocacy and legal aid organization, Equality Ohio always offers a wide range of ways for people to contribute.
• Equitas Health: Equitas Health offers affirming healthcare to LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as many volunteer and donation opportunities. 
• Kaleidoscope Youth Center: By supporting Kaleidoscope Youth Center’s drop-in center, wrap-around services, and housing assistance with donations or volunteer time, you are also supporting youth in need. 
• Mozaic: This Equitas Health project supports transgender people and fosters their success. Follow them on Facebook for resources, news, and more!
• Stonewall Columbus: As the operators of Columbus Pride and a community center, Stonewall Columbus offers many ways to volunteer and donate. 
• BRAVO (Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization): This Equitas Health division supports survivors of hate and bias violence by sharing resources and providing trainings.
